Vaporetto Films

Vaporetto Films is a film production and distribution company created in 2022 by Tomás Felício Oliveira and Anouk Witkowska Hiffler.

We are looking to produce short-form narratives about a wide range of subjects.

We aim to tell stories that not only entertain but also have a bigger impact on the audience – making people dream, think, change, revolt, or learn something new about the world or themselves.

Tomás Felício Oliveira

Producer & writer-director

Tomás Felício Oliveira is a Portuguese film director and producer.

Tomás started his film studies at the age of 15 at the António Arroio Art School in Lisbon. He then moved to London in 2021 to study film at the University of Westminster.

Tomás’ films usually touch the subject of loss but present an optimistic view of the world and the future as he believes in a cinema that is emotionally meaningful and truthful but also allows the audience to dream.

He is currently in post-production with his short Fatal Ingredient and recently won a Young Arrows Award for his Spotify spec ad.

Anouk Witkowska Hiffler

Producer & writer-director

Anouk Witkowska Hiffler is a French-German filmmaker from Paris. She moved to London in 2020 and is graduating from the University of Westminster Film BA in 2023. She writes, directs and produces comedy, and more specifically absurd and political comedies.

Born in a queer family, she is really interested in POC and womxn-led narratives and characters. She also fights for her film sets to be inclusive and diverse. She is currently in the festival circuit with her short film ‘Bi-Nocular Panic’ which she wrote and directed.

Additionally, she really likes cheese.
